Screen Magazine was founded in 1979 to report on and market the creative community in Chicago. In late 2001, Screen Magazine was acquired by the current ownership. Publisher Robert Leach took over operations in December 2001 and moved the company to its current location in Chicago. With new leadership in place, Screen Magazine initiated several changes to improve customer service and attract new readers while maintaining editorial focus on the creative community.
Screen Magazine now covers creative news in 13 states and currently enjoys readers in all 50 states and 6 foreign countries.
Screen Magazine publishes 26 issues of the magazine each year in addition to the annual Midwest Production Bible, which lists thousands of companies related to the industry in the Midwest. We also publish a weekly email newsletter filled with breaking news stories and events through our website.
Screen Magazine’s online presence has grown exponentially in recent years, as more and more readers turn to ScreenMag.tv as a valuable information resource. The growth and development of Screen Magazine’s website has provided an excellent new arena for client exposure.
